1. Who you agree with

These terms apply to the use of the app EZ Weight Tracker. Your contract partner is the publisher in the store you downloaded the app from:

On iPhone and iPad, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies in addition. If it conflicts with these terms, Apple's agreement wins.

2. What the app does

EZ Weight Tracker is a logbook for your body weight. It shows a trend line, an estimated goal date, your BMI and, in Pro, an AI coach. The app is free to use; some features need EZ Weight Tracker Pro.

It is not a medical device and gives no medical advice. The goal date is an estimate from your recent trend, BMI is a rough guide, and AI coach answers are general information that can be wrong. For health decisions, talk to a doctor.

3. EZ Weight Tracker Pro

Pro is available as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) or as a one-time lifetime purchase. The current prices are shown in the app before you buy.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
• A subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• If you start a free trial, the subscription begins and is charged when the trial ends, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before. The app reminds you before the trial ends if you allow notifications.
• You manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules. Statutory rights of withdrawal under your local consumer law are not affected.
• Buyers of the earlier one-time Pro purchase keep Pro. Restore it with "Restore purchases" in the app.

4. AI coach

The AI coach is part of Pro; free users can send a few messages per day. Daily limits apply to protect the service from misuse. Do not use it for emergencies, and do not send other people's personal data. We may change or end the AI coach if the underlying service changes; paid Pro features as a whole stay available for the period you paid for.

5. Your data

Your weight data is stored only on your device. You are responsible for keeping a backup, for example with the export function in Pro. How we handle data is described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Liability

We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breach of essential contractual duties and limited to the foreseeable damage. We are not liable for data lost on your device. Mandatory consumer protection law remains unaffected.

7. Changes and law

We may update these terms when the app changes; the date at the top shows the current version. Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, the mandatory protections of the country you live in still apply.
